"Coming to an end of our little break away in Thorpe Cottage. It’s a beautiful little cottage, cosy and snug, like stepping back in time and unwinding.
There is a little local shop literally 2 doors down, 2 local pubs stones throw away from the cottage serving home cooked food. We enjoyed the Bulls Head.
Bakewell is just up the road, a charming little town and we cycled Monsal Trail, which was epic. We enjoyed the Lady Bower reseviour. As outdoorsy people who enjoy hiking, mountain biking and walking this was perfect. The cottage has a little outdoors shed for us to store our bikes safely.
We will definitely be coming back to this charming 17th century cottage, it was just perfect. "
